The purpose of the online Short Breaks Marketplace is to provide an easy way for commissioners and providers of short breaks services to increase the capacity and diversity of short breaks through the use of an online community based application.

• Easily communicate with providers to organise events and tender alerts via the search and email tool and understand more about the provision in your marketplace
• Easily keep on top of latest developments in your marketplace by subscribing to provider alerts

The Short Breaks Marketplace will help providers:

• Win more work by finding and responding to the tenders posted by commissioners as well as receiving automatic alerts for new tenders
• Increase the visibility and awareness of your organisation by commissioners by creating and maintaining an organisational profile
• Develop better relationships with existing and new commissioners

By using the Short Breaks Marketplace, providers and commissioners can work together and create, search for and submit tenders in the following ways:

If you are a provider you can register your details and create an organisation profile. Once you have registered, you can search for tenders placed on the website by commissioners and receive updates on new tenders when they are added to the system. Commissioners can also search for you, match you to their tenders and email you. If you have not registered with the website, the provider registration form can be accessed by clicking here. If you are already registered, you can create a provider profile by logging in, going to 'edit profile', 'registration data', scrolling down and ticking the box labelled 'If you are a short breaks provider, please click here to set up your profile for the e-marketplace'. Then just follow the steps from there.

If you are a commissioner you can upload tenders, search for providers based on specific criteria and use this to match tenders to providers. You are able to save searches and build a personalised marketplace in your region and children’s trust. You can share information with other commissioners about their strategies, plans and requirements. You will also receive updates on recently updated provider profiles and new relevant providers.
